Together, they bring decades of combined experience and a wide range of clinical expertise, allowing Heirloom Dental to provide comprehensive care for patients of all ages. While each doctor has their own professional background and areas of interest, they all share the same goal—helping every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their care.

Dr. G. Boyd Van Allen

D.D.S.

Dr. G. Boyd Van Allen graduated from The University of Western Ontario with a Bachelor of Science Honors Zoology degree (1972) and a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (1976). He moved to Brantford after graduation and opened his first office on King Street. In 1981, he renovated and restored the current office location (129 Market Street). Dr Van Allen truly loves being a dentist and enjoys the technological advances (lasers and the ability now to preserve and regenerate oral tissues and bone) that he has seen in dentistry during his 45 years as a dentist. Dr Van Allen is a long standing member and past president of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He is very passionate about Rotary and the causes they support. He is a member, director and past president of the Brant County Dental Society, a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA). He is an avid downhill ski racer and golfer and enjoys traveling.

Dr. Leah Van Allen-Haase

D.D.S

Dr. Leah Van Allen-Haase was born and raised in Brantford, where she attended Cedarland Public School and later North Park Collegiate. Dr. Leah attended The University of Western Ontario where she earned her degree in Bachelor of Science Honors Biology and played women’s lacrosse. She then attended The University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2004. She returned to Brantford in June of 2004 to begin practicing with her father. She enjoys dentistry because of the variety of procedures that can be performed. Dr. Leah enjoys traveling, skiing and other outdoor activities. Dr. Leah is a past member on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Brantford and is a past board member of the Hamilton/Burlington Brantford YMCA and the Brant Community Health Care System Foundation. She is also a member of the Ontario Dental Association (ODA) and the Brant County Dental Society.

Dr. Amna Arshad

D.D.S.
Dr. Amna Arshad was born and raised in Pakistan, where she completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) before moving abroad to expand her professional experience. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Toronto, building on her strong international background in dentistry.
She also spent four years in Dubai, working with a leading health insurance company, which gave her valuable insight into healthcare systems and patient access to care. Since moving to Canada, Dr. Arshad has been actively involved in the community through volunteer work at Kensington Health in Toronto and Penny Appeal Canada, further deepening her commitment to compassionate service.
Dr. Arshad is passionate about General dentistry and believes in delivering patient-centered care. Her approach emphasizes empathy, trust, and open communication, ensuring each patient feels heard, informed, and at ease.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Arshad leads a vibrant and active life. She grew up playing basketball and swimming, and worked as a swimming coach during her youth. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and exploring the outdoors.

Dr. Ahmad Mansouri

DMD, MSC, FRCD (C), Periodontist
Dr. Mansouri is from Montreal, Quebec. He has an extensive educational background. He completed a Bachelor of Engineering at McGill University. He then went on to complete a Masters of Sciences in Dental Sciences and a Doctorate of Dental Medicine at McGill University. He then completed a year of Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of California Los Angeles. He then completed his specialty in Periodontology with a Masters of Sciences at the University of Toronto.
Throughout his training he has received multiple awards recognizing his exceptional academic and clinical aptitude. He was awarded the Dr. A.W. Thornton Gold Medal for the highest overall standing in the four years of his dental program. He was also awarded the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Award and the Dr. Lyman E. Francis Prize for his accomplishments in oral pathology and medicine.
He is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Ontario Dental Association and American Academy of Periodontology. His interests are atraumatic extractions, soft tissue oral pathology, advanced periodontal treatments, soft tissue grafting, implant therapy, advanced bone grafting and regenerative procedures.
